Eagerly Math
Privacy policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
The short version: nothing is sent to us.
Eagerly Math has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and it doesn't use the internet. Your child's name, settings and answers are saved on the device and in your device backups. Deleting the app deletes all of its data.
Who we are
Eagerly Math is made by Eagerly Apps ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Eagerly Math app for iPhone and iPad and this website. If you have a question about it, write to support@eagerlyapps.com.
Information we collect
None from the app. The app does not collect, send or share any personal information or usage data, from children or from grown-ups. It makes no network connections, and it contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or other third-party code.
On the App Store, Eagerly Math is listed as "Data Not Collected", and its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data.
What the app keeps on the device
To work, the app saves a few things on the device itself. We never see them.
- Your child's first name, typed in when the app is first opened, so the app can greet them and print it on certificates
- Settings, such as the chosen practice, theme, sounds and round length
- Answers and scores: each answered question, whether it was right, and how long it took, plus rounds played, badges earned and facts to practice
Detailed answer history and the round log are kept for 90 days, then folded into all-time totals.
Device backups
The app's data is included in your device's normal backups, such as iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer, so a new iPhone or iPad can keep your child's progress. Those backups are made and stored by Apple or on your own computer under your own settings, not by us, and Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.
Children's privacy
Eagerly Math is made for children and is in the App Store's Kids category. We do not collect personal information from children, so there is nothing for us to share, sell or disclose. We built it this way with children's privacy laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR in mind, and to follow Apple's rules for kids apps.
Anything that leaves the child's part of the app, such as opening this website, writing us an email, or printing a certificate, sits behind a grown-up question in the app's grown-ups area.
If you email us
The app's Email us button opens a draft in your Mail app with the app and iOS version filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and we use it only to answer you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your message. Ask us any time and we'll delete it.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and it has no forms or accounts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Deleting your child's data
Because the app keeps its data on your device, you are in control of it:
- Reset progress clears scores, history, badges, 1-minute bests and facts to practice, and keeps the name and settings.
- Erase everything removes the name, settings and all progress, and returns the app to its first screen.
- Deleting the app deletes all of its data from the device.
Reset progress and Erase everything are in the app's grown-ups area: tap the gear at the top right, then For grown-ups, and answer the grown-up question. Data in older device backups stays there until those backups are replaced or deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy describes the app as it works today. If a future version adds features that change how information is handled, such as optional cloud backup or syncing between devices, or a paid upgrade (purchases would be handled by Apple), we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released. We will never sell your child's information or use it for advertising.
